Complementary Therapists

Helping Others Through Helping Ourselves

Through our work in the field of mind-body medicine we have recognised the profound potential of techniques such as breath work, relaxation, enhancing the flow of endorphins and mind clearing exercises. In our experience, these can be of considerable assistance to people who are training to become complementary therapists.

Developing awareness and aptitude in these techniques enables therapists to:

  • Notice the signs of stress in themselves and others
  • Increase their ability to manage stress
  • Learn practical ways to remain centred in challenging situations
  • Enhance health, well-being and vitality
  • Develop inner calm and balance

These qualities allow therapists to maintain strength in mind, body and spirit. Our aim is that in providing knowledge and the opportunity to explore these tools, students and therapists can be equipped to look after themselves, which in turn is likely to have a positive influence on their work.
